3. 54ಆಗ ಅವನು ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರುವ ಸೇವಕ ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಕೊಂದಳೆಂದು ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳದ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಇರಿದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲು ಎಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕನು ಅವನನ್ನು ತಿವಿದು ಹಾಕಿದನು; ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.

5. 56ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನು ತನ್ನ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಶೆಕೆಮಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ಅವರ ತಲೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ದೇವರು ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು. ಯೆರುಬ್ಬಾಳನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನ ಶಾಪವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂತು.
