ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹತರಾದವರು ಹಸಿವೆ ಯಿಂದ ಹತರಾದವರಿಗಿಂತ ಲೇಸು, ಇವರು ಭೂಫಲ ಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕ್ಷಾಮದಿಂದ ತಿವಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಕ್ಷೀಣಿಸಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Kattiyinda hataraadavaru hasive yinda hataraadavariginta lesu, ivaru bhoophala galillade kshaamadinda tiviyalpattu ksheenisi hoguttaare.

- 10ಕನಿಕರ ತುಂಬಿದ ಹೆಂಗಸರ ಕೈಗಳು ಅವರ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೇ ಬೇಯಿಸಿದವು; ಇವರು ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಮಗಳ ನಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರ ವಾದರು.
- 11ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ರೋಷವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಉಗ್ರವಾದ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಸುರಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಚೀಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊತ್ತಿಸಿದ ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಅದರ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು.
