3. 6ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ಪಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನೂ ದೇವದಾರು ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯನ್ನೂ ರಕ್ತವರ್ಣ ದಾರವನ್ನೂ ಹಿಸ್ಸೋಪನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹರಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಲ್ಲಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಆ ಪಕ್ಷಿಯ ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ದಿ
4. 7ಕುಷ್ಠದಿಂದ ಶುದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಏಳು ಸಾರಿ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧನೆಂದು ನುಡಿದು ಆ ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ಪಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನು ಬಯಲಾದ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಿಡ ಬೇಕು.
5. 8ಶುದ್ಧವಾಗುವದಕ್ಕಿರುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೂದಲನ್ನು ಕ್ಷೌರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗುವಂತೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಪಾಳೆಯ ದೊಳಗೆ ಬಂದು ತನ್ನ ಡೇರೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ಕಾಯಬೇಕು.
