ಸ್ರಾವವುಳ್ಳ ವನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಯಾರನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೆ ಅವನು ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

- 12ಸ್ರಾವವುಳ್ಳವನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಒಡೆಯಬೇಕು, ಮರದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಲಿಸಿ ತೊಳೆಯಬೇಕು.
- 13ಸ್ರಾವವುಳ್ಳವನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ರಾವದಿಂದ ಶುದ್ಧನಾದರೆ ತನ್ನ ಶುದ್ಧತೆಗಾಗಿ ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಮಾಡಿ ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಹರಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ಆಗ ಅವನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವನು.
