ಆ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಏಳು ದಿವಸಗಳ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗಾಗಿ ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಇದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ನಿಯಮವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು; ನೀವು ಇದನ್ನು ಏಳನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು.

- 43ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆನೆಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯವರು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾ ಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನು ನಾನೇ ಎಂಬದು.ಮೋಶೆಯು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
