ಆಗ ಯಾಜಕನು ತನ್ನ ಬೆರಳಿನಿಂದ ಅದರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ದಹನ ಬಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಕೊಂಬುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿ ಉಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಆ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಯ್ಯ ಬೇಕು.

- 31ಅವನು ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಯಜ್ಞ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದಂತೆ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯ ಬೇಕು; ಯಾಜಕನು ಅದನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಸುವಾಸನೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಸುಡಬೇಕು; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾಜಕನು ಅವನಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತಮಾಡ ಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ಅದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದು.
- 32ಅವನು ಪಾಪದ ಬಲಿಗಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಕುರಿಮರಿ ಯನ್ನು ತರುವದಾದರೆ ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲದ ಒಂದು ಹೆಣ್ಣನ್ನು ತರಬೇಕು;
