2. 35ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹವ್ಮೆಾಣಿ ಚೀಲ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆರಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಕೊರತೆಯಾಯಿತೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ಅವರು--ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು.
3. 36ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಹವ್ಮೆಾಣಿ ಇದ್ದವನು ಅದನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ಅದರಂತೆಯೇ ಚೀಲ ಇದ್ದವನು ಅದನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ; ಕತ್ತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾರಿ ಒಂದು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ.
4. 37ಯಾಕಂದರೆ--ಆತನು ಅಕ್ರಮಗಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನು ಎಂಬದಾಗಿ ಬರೆ ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದು ಇನ್ನೂ ನೆರವೇರತಕ್ಕದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ; ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯ ವಾದವುಗಳು ಕೊನೆಗಾಣಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
5. 38ಆಗ ಅವರು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇಗೋ, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಕತ್ತಿಗಳಿವೆ ಅಂದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು ಅವ ರಿಗೆ--ಅದು ಸಾಕಾ ಅಂದನು.
