1. 31ಆತನು ಬಂದು ಆಕೆಯ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತಿದನು; ಕೂಡಲೆ ಜ್ವರವು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಯಿತು; ಆಕೆಯು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉಪಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದಳು.
2. 32ಸಂಜೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಮುಣುಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವರು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯುಳ್ಳವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ದೆವ್ವ ಹಿಡಿದವರನ್ನೂ ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದರು.
3. 33ಆಗ ಪಟ್ಟಣವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಾಗಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದಿತು.
4. 34ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ವಿಧವಿಧವಾದ ರೋಗ ಗಳಿಂದ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ಆತನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿ ಬಹಳ ದೆವ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನು; ಮತ್ತು ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಆತನನ್ನು ಅರಿತಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಗೊಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
