1. 2ಫಲದ ಕಾಲ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ರಿಂದ ಪಡೆಯುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸೇವಕ ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
2. 3ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಹೊಡೆದು ಬರಿದಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
3. 4ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅವನು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ಸೇವಕನನ್ನು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಎಸೆದು ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಗಾಯಪಡಿಸಿ ಅವಮಾನದಿಂದ ವರ್ತಿಸಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
4. 5ಅವನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವನನ್ನೂ ಕೊಂದರು. ಇನ್ನೂ ಆನೇಕರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವ ರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದರು; ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿದರು.
5. 6ಕಡೆಯದಾಗಿ ತನಗೆ ಇನ್ನು ಅತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಮಗನಿರಲಾಗಿ--ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗಾದರೂ ಗೌರವ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಾರು ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಹ ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
