ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಮಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡಿದರು.
Taruvaaya aatanu paatreyannu tegedukondu stotramaadi avarige kottanu; avarellaroo adaralli kudidaru.

- 21ತನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಕುಮಾರನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆದರೆ ಯಾವನಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡು ತ್ತಾನೋ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಹುಟ್ಟದೆಹೋಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
- 22ಅವರು ಊಟಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಯೇಸು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಮುರಿದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು--ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ತಿನ್ನಿರಿ; ಇದು ನನ್ನ ದೇಹ ಅಂದನು.

- 24ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಇದು ಬಹು ಜನರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸುರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವ ಹೊಸಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ತ.
- 25ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ಆ ದಿನದ ವರೆಗೆ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕುಡಿಯುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
