ಅವನು ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಯಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡ ಮೇಲೆ ಆ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಯೊಸೇಫನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
Avanu shataadhipatiyinda adannu tilidukonda mele aa dehavannu yosephanige kottanu.

- 44ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಆಗಲೇ ಸತ್ತನೋ ಎಂದು ಪಿಲಾತನು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆದು--ಆತನು ಸತ್ತು ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಮಯ ವಾಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
- 45ಅವನು ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಯಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡ ಮೇಲೆ ಆ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಯೊಸೇಫನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
- 46ಆಗ ಅವನು ಶುಭ್ರವಾದ ನಾರು ಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡು ಕೊಂಡು ಆತನನ್ನು (ಶಿಲುಬೆಯಿಂದ) ಇಳಿಸಿ ಆ ನಾರುಮಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿ ಬಂಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೋಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು ಸಮಾಧಿಯ ಬಾಗಲಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಉರುಳಿಸಿದನು.ಮಗ್ದಲದ ಮರಿಯಳೂ ಯೋಸೆಯ ತಾಯಿಯಾದ ಮರಿಯಳೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರು.
- 47ಮಗ್ದಲದ ಮರಿಯಳೂ ಯೋಸೆಯ ತಾಯಿಯಾದ ಮರಿಯಳೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರು.
