ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅನೇಕ ಸುಂಕದವರೂ ಪಾಪಿಗಳೂ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮತ್ತು ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅನೇಕರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
