ಅವರು ಹೊರಡುವದನ್ನು ಜನರು ನೋಡಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಆತನ ಗುರುತು ಹಿಡಿದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಂದ ಕಾಲುನಡಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಓಡುತ್ತಾ ಅವರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಬಂದರು.

- 34ಯೇಸು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ಬಹು ಜನರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕನಿಕರ ಪಟ್ಟನು; ಅವರು ಕುರುಬನಿಲ್ಲದ ಕುರಿಗಳಂತೆ ಇದ್ದರು; ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.
