ನಿನ್ನ ಕಿರೀಟಧಾರಿಗಳು ಮಿಡತೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ತಂಪಾದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಲಿಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಇಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಿಡತೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಹುಟ್ಟುವಾಗ ಹಾರಿಹೋಗು ತ್ತವೆ; ಆಗ ಅವು ಎಲ್ಲಿರುವವೆಂದು ಅವುಗಳ ಸ್ಥಳವು ತಿಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ;

16ನಿನ್ನ ವರ್ತಕರನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿ ಸಿದ್ದೀ; ನಾಶಕ ಹುಳವು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿ ಹಾರಿಹೋಗು ತ್ತದೆ.
17ನಿನ್ನ ಕಿರೀಟಧಾರಿಗಳು ಮಿಡತೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ತಂಪಾದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಲಿಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಇಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಿಡತೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಹುಟ್ಟುವಾಗ ಹಾರಿಹೋಗು ತ್ತವೆ; ಆಗ ಅವು ಎಲ್ಲಿರುವವೆಂದು ಅವುಗಳ ಸ್ಥಳವು ತಿಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ;
18ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್ಯದ ಅರಸನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕುರುಬರು ತೂಕಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರು ಧೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರು ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದರಿ ಹೋಗಿ ದ್ದಾರೆ; ಕೂಡಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.ನಿನ್ನ ಗಾಯವು ಗುಣಹೊಂದದು; ನಿನ್ನ ಗಾಯ ಕಠಿಣ ವಾದದ್ದು; ನಿನ್ನ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವರೆಲ್ಲರು ನಿನಗೆ ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆ ಹೊಡೆಯುವರು; ನಿನ್ನ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವು ನಿತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಯಾರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾದುಹೋಗದೆ ಇತ್ತು?
