ಆಗ ನಾನು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ರಿಗೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಸ್ಥರಿಗೂ ಇತರ ಜನರಿಗೂ--ಕೆಲಸವು ದೊಡ್ಡದೂ ವಿಸ್ತಾರವೂ ಆದದ್ದು. ನಾವು ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಚದರಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ದೂರವಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

17ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟುವವರೂ ಹೊರೆಗಾರರೂ ಹೊರಿಸುವವರೂ ಒಂದು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯುಧವನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
18ಕಟ್ಟು ವವರು ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ನಡುವಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ತುತೂರಿ ಊದುವ ವನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದನು.
19ಆಗ ನಾನು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ರಿಗೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಸ್ಥರಿಗೂ ಇತರ ಜನರಿಗೂ--ಕೆಲಸವು ದೊಡ್ಡದೂ ವಿಸ್ತಾರವೂ ಆದದ್ದು. ನಾವು ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಚದರಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ದೂರವಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
20ನೀವು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ತುತೂರಿಯ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವಿರೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
21ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅರ್ಧ ಜನರು ಈಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಂಡು ಉದಯ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ನಕ್ಷತ್ರ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ನಾವು ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಷ್ಟ ಪಟ್ಟೆವು.
