ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಜನರಿಗೆರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ನಮಗೆ ಕಾವಲಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಹಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಪ್ರತಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇ ಮಿನೊಳಗೆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾವಲಾಗಿರಲಿ.ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ನಾನಾದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರಾದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕ ರಾದರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರಾ ದರೂ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರತು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕಲಿಲ್ಲ.

King James Version (KJV): Likewise at the same time said I unto the people, Let every one with his servant lodge within Jerusalem, that in the night they may be a guard to us, and labour on the day.

20ನೀವು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ತುತೂರಿಯ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವಿರೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
21ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅರ್ಧ ಜನರು ಈಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಂಡು ಉದಯ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ನಕ್ಷತ್ರ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ನಾವು ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಷ್ಟ ಪಟ್ಟೆವು.
