ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಡೇರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತಾಗ ಅವನ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಏನಂದರೆ--ಆ ಡೇರೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಡೇರೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವವರೆ ಲ್ಲರೂ ಏಳು ದಿವಸಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ಅಶುದ್ಧರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

12ಅವನು ಇದ ರಿಂದ ಮೂರನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಏಳನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಬೇಕು; ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಮೂರನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳದಿದ್ದರೆ ಏಳನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಲಾರನು.
13ಸತ್ತ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹೆಣವನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನವರೊ ಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡಲಿ; ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ನೀರು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಚೆಲ್ಲಲ್ಪಡದ ಕಾರಣ ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅವನ ಅಶುದ್ಧತ್ವವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದೆ.
14ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಡೇರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತಾಗ ಅವನ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಏನಂದರೆ--ಆ ಡೇರೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಡೇರೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವವರೆ ಲ್ಲರೂ ಏಳು ದಿವಸಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ಅಶುದ್ಧರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
15ಮುಚ್ಚಳ ಹಾಕದೆ ತೆರೆದಿರುವ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
16ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕತ್ತಿ ಯಿಂದ ಕೊಲ್ಲಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಎಲುಬ ನ್ನಾದರೂ ಸಮಾಧಿಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಏಳು ದಿವಸ ಅಪವಿತ್ರರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
