ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನು ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಅವನು ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರ ಪೂರ್ವದ ಅರಸನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಅವನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅರ್ನೋನ್‌ ನದಿಯ ಪರ್ಯಂತರ ಅವನಿಂದ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.

28ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯು ಸೀಹೋನನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದಲೂ ಹೊರಟು ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಆರ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ನೋನಿನ ಎತ್ತರ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳನ್ನೂ ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು.
