ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಗುವವನು ಯಾರು? ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪರ್ವತ ದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವವನು ಯಾರು?
A Psalm of David. LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದು ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನಾಡುವವನೇ.
He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಚಾಡಿ ಹೇಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸು ವದಿಲ್ಲ;
[He that] backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀಚನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಲ್ಪ ಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಆಣೆಯಿಂದ ನಷ್ಟವಾದರೂ ಬದಲಾ ಯಿಸದವನು.ತನ್ನ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಬಡ್ಡಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಲಂಚ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಕದಲದೆ ಇರುವನು.
In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. [He that] sweareth to [his own] hurt, and changeth not.
ತನ್ನ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಬಡ್ಡಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಲಂಚ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಕದಲದೆ ಇರುವನು.
[He that] putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these [things] shall never be moved.
