ಯೋಹಾನನೆಂಬ ನಾನೇ ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಕಂಡವನು. ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿ ಕಂಡಾಗ ಈ ವಿಷಯಗಳನು ನನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದ ದೂತನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವನ ಪಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದೆನು.
Yohaananemba naane ee sangatigalannu keli kandavanu. Naanu keli kandaaga ee vishayagalanu nanage torisida dootanannu aaraadhisabekendu avana paadakke biddenu.

- 7ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಬೇಗನೆ ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವವನು ಧನ್ಯನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
- 8ಯೋಹಾನನೆಂಬ ನಾನೇ ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಕಂಡವನು. ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿ ಕಂಡಾಗ ಈ ವಿಷಯಗಳನು ನನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದ ದೂತನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವನ ಪಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದೆನು.
- 9ಆಗ ಅವನು ನನಗೆ--ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಡ ನೋಡು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಾಗಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೂ ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿರುವವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆಯುವವ ರಿಗೂ ಜೊತೆಯ ಸೇವಕನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ದೇವರನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸು ಎಂದು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
- 10ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ನನಗೆ--ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಯ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುದ್ರೆಹಾಕಬೇಡ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಸಮಯವು ಸವಿಾಪವಾಗಿದೆ.
