ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ದೊರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಒಲೆಯ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಸಿವುಡುಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕೊಳ್ಳಿಯ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅವರು ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಎಡಗಡೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿ ಬಿಡುವರು; ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು ತಿರುಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ವಾಸಿಸುವದು.

Aa dinadalli naanu yehoodada doregalannu kattigeya madhyadalliruva benkiya oleya haageyoo sivudugalalliruva benkiya kolliya haageyoo maaduvenu. Avaru balagadeyalliyoo edagade yalliyoo suttaliruva ellaa janagalannu nungi biduvaru; yeroosalemu tirugi tanna sthaladalli, yeroosaleminalliye vaasisuvadu.

King James Version (KJV): In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, [even] in Jerusalem.
World English Bible (WEB): In that day I will make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left; and Jerusalem will yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem.

4ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನು--ನಾನು ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬೆದರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಹತ್ತಿ ದವನನ್ನು ಹುಚ್ಚುತನದಿಂದಲೂ ಹೊಡೆಯುವೆನು; ಯೆಹೂದನ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯುವೆನು; ಜನಗಳ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕುರುಡುತನ ದಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆಯುವೆನು.
5ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದದ ದೊರೆ ಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ--ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಗಳು ಅವರ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಬಲವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ಅವರು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
6ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ದೊರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಒಲೆಯ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಸಿವುಡುಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕೊಳ್ಳಿಯ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅವರು ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಎಡಗಡೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿ ಬಿಡುವರು; ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು ತಿರುಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ವಾಸಿಸುವದು.
7ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದಾವೀದನ ಮನೆಯ ಘನತೆಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಗೌರವವೂ ಯೆಹೂದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಪಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೊದಲು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಗುಡಾರಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವನು.
8ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವನು; ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರೊಳಗೆ ಬಲಹೀನನು ದಾವೀದನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ದಾವೀದನ ಮನೆತನದವರು ದೇವರ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇರುವರು.
