ಅದರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂದೆಗಳೂ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮೃಗಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಮಲಗುವವು; ಬಕಪಕ್ಷಿಯೂ ಮುಳ್ಳು ಹಂದಿಯೂ ಅದರ ಮೇಲಿನ ಅವುಗಳ ಹಾಸುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವು; ಕಿಟಕಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಡುವ ಶಬ್ದವಿರುವದು; ಹೊಸ್ತಿಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಳು ಇರುವದು; ದೇವದಾ ರಿನ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಬೈಲುಮಾಡುವನು.ನಿಶ್ಚಿಂತೆಯಾಗಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದಂಥ ತಾನೇ ಹೊರತು ಮತ್ತೊಂದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ತನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಂಥ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಇದೇ. ಅದು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಹಾಳಾಯಿತು; ಮೃಗಗಳು ಮಲಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಯಿತು. ಅದನ್ನು ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುವವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಸಿಳ್ಳಿಟ್ಟು ಕೈ ಅಲ್ಲಾಡಿಸುವರು.
