23നീ ശലോമോന്റെ മകനായി യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ രെഹബെയാമിനോടും യെഹൂദയുടെയും ബെന്യാമീന്റെയും സകലഗൃഹത്തോടും ശേഷം ജനത്തോടും പറക; നിങ്ങൾ പുറപ്പെടരുതു;
24നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്കയുമരുതു; ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകുവിൻ; ഈ കാര്യം എന്റെ ഹിതത്താൽ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നിപ്രകാരം യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു. അവർ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു അനുസരിച്ചു യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി.
25അനന്തരം യൊരോബെയാം എഫ്രയീംമലനാട്ടിൽ ശെഖേം പണിതു അവിടെ പാർത്തു. അവൻ അവിടെനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു പെനൂവേലും പണിതു.
