ഞാൻ ഇനി ജീവനോടിരിക്കയാകുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ മരിക്കാതവണ്ണം യഹോവയുടെ ദയ നീ കാണിക്കേണ്ടതു എന്നോടു മാത്രമല്ല;
Nyaan ini jeevanotirikkayaakunnu engkil nyaan marikkaatavannam yahovayute daya nee kaanikkentatu ennotu maatramalla;

- 13എന്നാൽ നിന്നോടു ദോഷം ചെയ്‌വാനാകുന്നു എന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ ഭാവമെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ അതു നിന്നെ അറിയിച്ചു നീ സമാധാനത്തോടെ പോകേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്നെ പറഞ്ഞയക്കാതിരുന്നാൽ യഹോവ യോനാഥാനോടു തക്കവണ്ണവും അധികവും ചെയ്യട്ടെ; യഹോവ എന്റെ അപ്പനോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നതുപോലെ നിന്നോടുകൂടെയും ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.
- 14ഞാൻ ഇനി ജീവനോടിരിക്കയാകുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ മരിക്കാതവണ്ണം യഹോവയുടെ ദയ നീ കാണിക്കേണ്ടതു എന്നോടു മാത്രമല്ല;
- 15എന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തോടും നിന്റെ ദയ ഒരിക്കലും അറ്റുപോകരുതു; യഹോവ ദാവീദിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ ഭൂതലത്തിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയുംകാലത്തും അറ്റുപോകരുതു.
- 16ഇങ്ങനെ യോനാഥാൻ ദാവീദിന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തോടു സഖ്യതചെയ്തു. ദാവീദിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളോടു യഹോവ ചോദിച്ചുകൊള്ളും.
