1. 7ലേവ്യരോ, ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ ആയുധം ധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു രാജാവിന്നു ചുറ്റും നില്ക്കേണം; മറ്റാരെങ്കിലും ആലയത്തിൽ കടന്നാൽ അവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം; രാജാവു അകത്തു വരുമ്പോഴും പുറത്തു പോകുമ്പോഴും നിങ്ങൾ അവനോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കേണം.
2. 8ലേവ്യരും എല്ലായെഹൂദയും യെഹോയാദാപുരോഹിതൻ കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ ഒക്കെയും ചെയ്തു; ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ ആളുകളെ ശബ്ബത്തിൽ തവണമാറിപ്പോകുന്നവരെയും ശബ്ബത്തിൽ തവണമാറി വരുന്നവരെയും തന്നേ, കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു വന്നു; യെഹോയാദാപുരോഹിതൻ കൂറുകളെ വിട്ടയച്ചിരുന്നില്ല.
3. 9യെഹോയാദാപുരോഹിതൻ ദാവീദ്‌ രാജാവിന്റെ വകയായി ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന കുന്തങ്ങളും ചെറുപരിചകളും വമ്പരിചകളും ശതാധിപന്മാർക്കു കൊടുത്തു.
4. 10അവൻ സകലജനത്തെയും താന്താന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ആയുധവുമായി ആലയത്തിന്റെ വലത്തുവശം മുതൽ ആലയത്തിന്റെ ഇടത്തുവശംവരെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും ആലയത്തിന്നും നേരെ രാജാവിന്റെ ചുറ്റും നിർത്തി;
5. 11അവർ രാജകുമാരനെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു കിരീടം ധരിപ്പിച്ചു സാക്ഷ്യപുസ്തകവും കൊടുത്തു അവനെ രാജാവാക്കി. യെഹോയാദയും പുത്രന്മാരും അവനെ അഭിഷേകം കഴിച്ചു: രാജാവേ, ജയജയ എന്നു ആർത്തുവിളിച്ചു.
