മഹാപുരോഹിതനായ അസര്യാവും സകലപുരോഹിതന്മാരും അവനെ നോക്കി, അവന്റെ നെറ്റിയിൽ കുഷ്ഠം പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടിട്ടു അവനെ ക്ഷണം അവിടെനിന്നു പുറത്താക്കി; യഹോവ തന്നേ ബാധിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ തന്നേയും പുറത്തുപോകുവാൻ ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു.
Mahaapurohitanaaya asaryaavum sakalapurohitanmaarum avane nokki, avante nettiyil kushtham pitichchirikkunnatu kantittu avane kshanam aviteninnu purattaakki; yahova tanne baadhichchatukontu avan tanneyum purattupokuvaan baddhappettu.

- 21അങ്ങനെ ഉസ്സീയാരാജാവു ജീവപര്യന്തം കുഷ്ഠരോഗിയായിരുന്നു; അവൻ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽനിന്നു ഭ്രഷ്ടനായിരുന്നതിനാൽ ഒരു പ്രത്യേകശാലയിൽ കുഷ്ഠരോഗിയായി താമസിച്ചു. അവന്റെ മകനായ യോഥാം രാജധാനിക്കു മേൽവിചാരകനായി ദേശത്തിലെ ജനത്തിന്നു ന്യായപാലനം ചെയ്തുവന്നു.
- 22ഉസ്സീയാവിന്റെ മറ്റുള്ള വൃത്താന്തങ്ങൾ ആദ്യാവസാനം ആമോസിന്റെ മകനായ യെശയ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
