5. 24പുരോഹിതന്മാർ അവയെ അറുത്തു എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിന്നും പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം വരുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു അവയുടെ രക്തം യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ പാപയാഗമായി അർപ്പിച്ചു; എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിന്നും വേണ്ടി ഹോമയാഗവും പാപയാഗവും കഴിക്കേണം എന്നു രാജാവു കല്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.
