1. 2യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ കടപ്പാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.
2. 3തീ ഇറങ്ങിയതും ആലയത്തിൽ യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളൊക്കെയും കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അവർ കൽത്തളത്തിൽ സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീണു യഹോവയെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു: അവൻ നല്ലവൻ അല്ലോ; അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കും ഉള്ളതു എന്നു ചൊല്ലി സ്തുതിച്ചു.
3. 4പിന്നെ രാജാവും സർവ്വജനവും യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ യാഗംകഴിച്ചു.
4. 5ശലോമോൻരാജാവു ഇരുപത്തീരായിരം കാളയെയും ഒരുലക്ഷത്തിരുപതിനായിരം ആടിനെയും യാഗം കഴിച്ചു; ഇങ്ങനെ രാജാവും സർവ്വജനവും ദൈവാലയത്തെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചു.
5. 6പുരോഹിതന്മാർ തങ്ങളുടെ ഉദ്യോഗം അനുസരിച്ചും ലേവ്യർ: അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കും ഉള്ളതു എന്നിങ്ങനെ അവർമുഖാന്തരം ദാവീദ് സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്ത സമയത്തു യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പാൻ ദാവീദ്‌രാജാവു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യഹോവയുടെ വാദ്യങ്ങളോടുകൂടെയും നിന്നു; യിസ്രായേൽ ഒക്കെയും നില്ക്കെ പുരോഹിതന്മാർ അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ കാഹളം ഊതി.
