- 11അങ്ങനെ യേഹൂ യിസ്രെയേലിൽ ആഹാബ് ഗൃഹത്തിൽ ശേഷിച്ചവരെ ഒക്കെയും അവന്റെ സകലമഹത്തുക്കളെയും ബന്ധുക്കളെയും പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും ആരും ശേഷിക്കാതവണ്ണം സംഹരിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

- 13യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ അഹസ്യാവിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ കണ്ടിട്ടു: നിങ്ങൾ ആർ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. ഞങ്ങൾ അഹസ്യാവിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർ; രാജാവിന്റെ മക്കളെയും രാജ്ഞിയുടെ മക്കളെയും അഭിവന്ദനം ചെയ്‌വാൻ പോകയാകുന്നു എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.
- 14അപ്പോൾ അവൻ: അവരെ ജീവനോടെ പിടിപ്പിൻ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു; അവർ അവരെ ജീവനോടെ പിടിച്ചു; അവരെ നാല്പത്തിരണ്ടുപേരെയും രോമം കത്രിക്കുന്ന വീട്ടിന്റെ കളത്തിങ്കൽവെച്ചു കൊന്നു; അവരിൽ ഒരുത്തനെയും ശേഷിപ്പിച്ചില്ല.
