1. 11അകമ്പടികൾ ഒക്കെയും കയ്യിൽ ആയുധവുമായി ആലയത്തിന്റെ വലത്തുവശംമുതൽ ഇടത്തുവശംവരെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും ആലയത്തിന്നും നേരെ രാജാവിന്റെ ചുറ്റും നിന്നു.
2. 12അവൻ രാജകുമാരനെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു കിരീടും ധരിപ്പിച്ചു സാക്ഷ്യപുസ്തകവും അവന്നു കൊടുത്തു; ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ അവനെ രാജാവാക്കി അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തിട്ടു കൈകൊട്ടി; രാജാവേ, ജയജയ എന്നു ആർത്തു.
3. 13അഥല്യാ അകമ്പടികളുടെയും ജനത്തിന്റെയും ആരവം കേട്ടു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ ജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു.
4. 14ആചാരപ്രകാരം തൂണിന്റെ അരികെ രാജാവും രാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും കാഹളക്കാരും നില്ക്കുന്നതും ദേശത്തെ ജനം ഉല്ലസിച്ചു കാഹളം ഊതുന്നതും കണ്ടിട്ടു അഥല്യാ വസ്ത്രം കീറി: ദ്രോഹം, ദ്രോഹം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
5. 15അപ്പോൾ യെഹോയാദാപുരോഹിതൻ പടനായകന്മാരായ ശതാധിപന്മാർക്കു കല്പന കൊടുത്തു; അവളെ അണികളിൽകൂടി പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകുവിൻ; അവളെ അനുഗമിക്കുന്നവനെ വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലുവിൻ എന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു. യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽവെച്ചു അവളെ കൊല്ലരുതു എന്നു പുരോഹിതൻ കല്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.
