ഏലീയാവു അവനോടു: നീ ഇവിടെ താമസിച്ചുകൊൾക; യഹോവ എന്നെ യോർദ്ദാങ്കലേക്കു അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അതിന്നു അവൻ യഹോവയാണ, നിന്റെ ജീവനാണ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വിടുകയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ അവർ ഇരുവരുംകൂടെ പോയി.
Eleeyaavu avanotu: nee ivite taamasichchukolka; yahova enne yorddaangkalekku ayachchirikkunnu ennu paranynyu; atinnu avan yahovayaana, ninte jeevanaana, nyaan ninne vitukayilla ennu paranynyu. Angngane avar iruvarunkoote poyi.

- 7പ്രവാചകശിഷ്യന്മാരിൽ അമ്പതുപേർ ചെന്നു അവർക്കെതിരെ ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു; അവർ ഇരുവരും യോർദ്ദാന്നരികെ നിന്നു.
- 8അപ്പോൾ ഏലീയാവു തന്റെ പുതപ്പു എടുത്തു മടക്കി വെള്ളത്തെ അടിച്ചു; അതു അങ്ങോട്ടും ഇങ്ങോട്ടും പിരിഞ്ഞു; അങ്ങനെ അവർ ഇരുവരും ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തുകൂടി അക്കരെക്കു കടന്നു.
