3. 15യെഹോയാഖീനെ അവൻ ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി; രാജമാതാവിനെയും രാജഭാര്യമാരെയും അവന്റെ ഷണ്ഡന്മാരെയും ദേശത്തിലെ പ്രധാനികളെയും അവൻ ബദ്ധരാക്കി യെരൂശലേമിൽനിന്നു ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.
4. 16സകലബലവാന്മാരുമായ ഏഴായിരംപേരെയും ആശാരിമാരും കൊല്ലന്മാരുമായ ആയിരം പേരെയും ഇങ്ങനെ യുദ്ധപ്രാപ്തന്മാരായ സകലവീരന്മാരെയും ബാബേൽരാജാവു ബദ്ധരാക്കി ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.
5. 17അവന്നു പകരം ബാബേൽരാജാവു അവന്റെ ചിറ്റപ്പനായ മത്ഥന്യാവെ രാജാവാക്കി; അവന്നു സിദെക്കീയാവു എന്നു പേർ മാറ്റിയിട്ടു.
