അവൻ മറ്റൊരുത്തനെ കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു അയച്ചു; അവനും അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു: സമാധാനമോ എന്നു രാജാവു ചോദിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. സമാധാനംകൊണ്ടു നിനക്കു എന്തു കാര്യം? തിരിഞ്ഞു എന്റെ പുറകിൽ വരിക എന്നു യേഹൂ പറഞ്ഞു.

Avan mattoruttane kutirappurattu ayachchu; avanum avarute atukkal chennu: samaadhaanamo ennu raajaavu chodikkunnu ennu paranynyu. Samaadhaanankontu ninakku entu kaaryam? Tirinynyu ente purakil varika ennu yehoo paranynyu.

King James Version (KJV): Then he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the king, [Is it] peace? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me.

20അപ്പോൾ കാവല്ക്കാരൻ: അവനും അവരുടെ അടുക്കലോളം ചെന്നിട്ടു മടങ്ങിവരുന്നില്ല; ആ ഓടിക്കുന്നതു നിംശിയുടെ മകനായ യേഹൂ ഓടിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ഭ്രാന്തനപ്പോലെയല്ലോ അവൻ ഓടിച്ചുവരുന്നതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
21ഉടനെ യോരാം: രഥം പൂട്ടുക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു; രഥം പൂട്ടിയശേഷം യിസ്രായേൽ രാജാവായ യോരാമും യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ അഹസ്യാവും താന്താന്റെ രഥത്തിൽ കയറി യേഹൂവിന്റെ നേരെ പുറപ്പെട്ടു, യിസ്രെയേല്യനായ നാബോത്തിന്റെ നിലത്തിങ്കൽവെച്ചു അവനെ എതിരേറ്റു.
