- 32പിന്നെ ദാവീദ് മലമുകളിൽ ദൈവത്തെ ആരാധിച്ചുവന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അർഖ്യനായ ഹൂശായി അങ്കി കീറിയും തലയിൽ മണ്ണു വാരിയിട്ടുംകൊണ്ടു അവന്നെതിരെ വരുന്നതു കണ്ടു.

- 34എന്നാൽ നീ പട്ടണത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു അബ്ശാലോമിനോടു: രാജാവേ, ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ദാസനായിരുന്നുകൊള്ളാം; ഞാൻ ഇതുവരെ നിന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ ദാസൻ ആയിരുന്നതുപോലെ ഇപ്പോൾ നിന്റെ ദാസനായിരിക്കാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ നിനക്കു അഹീഥോഫെലിന്റെ ആലോചനയെ വ്യർത്ഥമാക്കുവാൻ കഴിയും.
- 35അവിടെ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ പുരോഹിതന്മാരായ സാദോക്കും അബ്യാഥാരും ഉണ്ടു. അതുകൊണ്ടു രാജധാനിയിൽ നിന്നു കേൾക്കുന്ന വർത്തമാനമൊക്കെയും നീ പുരോഹിതന്മാരായ സാദോക്കിനെയും അബ്യാഥാരിനെയും അറിയിക്കേണം.
