അവനെ കാണുന്നേടത്തു നാം അവനെ ആക്രമിച്ചു മഞ്ഞു ഭൂമിയിൽ പൊഴിയുന്നതുപോലെ അവന്റെമേൽ ചെന്നുവീഴും; പിന്നെ അവനാകട്ടെ അവനോടു കൂടെയുള്ള എല്ലാവരിലും ഒരുത്തൻ പോലും ആകട്ടെ ശേഷിക്കയില്ല.

- 13അവൻ ഒരു പട്ടണത്തിൽ കടന്നുകൂടി എങ്കിലോ യിസ്രായേലെല്ലാം ആ പട്ടണത്തിന്നു കയറുകെട്ടി അവിടെ ഒരു ചെറിയ കല്ലുപോലും കാണാതാകുംവരെ അതിനെ നദിയിൽ വലിച്ചിട്ടുകളയും.
- 14അപ്പോൾ അബ്ശാലോമും എല്ലാ യിസ്രായേല്യരും: അഹീഥോഫെലിന്റെ ആലോചനയെക്കാൾ അർഖ്യനായ ഹൂശായിയുടെ ആലോചന നല്ലതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അബ്ശാലോമിന്നു അനർത്ഥം വരേണ്ടതിന്നു അഹീഥോഫെലിന്റെ നല്ല ആലോചനയെ വ്യർത്ഥമാക്കുവാൻ യഹോവ നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരുന്നു.
