1. 13അവൻ ഒരു പട്ടണത്തിൽ കടന്നുകൂടി എങ്കിലോ യിസ്രായേലെല്ലാം ആ പട്ടണത്തിന്നു കയറുകെട്ടി അവിടെ ഒരു ചെറിയ കല്ലുപോലും കാണാതാകുംവരെ അതിനെ നദിയിൽ വലിച്ചിട്ടുകളയും.
2. 14അപ്പോൾ അബ്ശാലോമും എല്ലാ യിസ്രായേല്യരും: അഹീഥോഫെലിന്റെ ആലോചനയെക്കാൾ അർഖ്യനായ ഹൂശായിയുടെ ആലോചന നല്ലതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അബ്ശാലോമിന്നു അനർത്ഥം വരേണ്ടതിന്നു അഹീഥോഫെലിന്റെ നല്ല ആലോചനയെ വ്യർത്ഥമാക്കുവാൻ യഹോവ നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരുന്നു.
3. 15അനന്തരം ഹൂശായി പുരോഹിതന്മാരായ സാദോക്കിനോടും അബ്യാഥാരിനോടു: ഇന്നിന്നപ്രകാരം അഹീഥോഫെൽ അബ്ശാലോമിനോടും യിസ്രായേൽമൂപ്പന്മാരോടും ആലോചന പറഞ്ഞു; ഇന്നിന്നപ്രകാരം ഞാനും ആലോചന പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
4. 16ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ വേഗത്തിൽ ആളയച്ചു: ഈ രാത്രി മരുഭൂമിയിലേക്കുള്ള കടവിങ്കൽ പാർക്കരുതു; രാജാവിന്നും കൂടെയുള്ള സകലജനത്തിന്നും നാശം വരാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഏതു വിധേനയും അക്കരെ കടന്നുപോകേണം എന്നു ദാവീദിനെ അറിയിപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
