പിന്നെ ഞാൻ സകലജനത്തെയും നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ മടക്കിവരുത്തും; നീ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ എല്ലാവരും മടങ്ങിവരുമ്പോൾ സകലജനവും സമാധാനത്തോടെ ഇരിക്കും.

- 4ഈ വാക്കു അബ്ശാലോമിന്നും യിസ്രായേൽമൂപ്പന്മാർക്കൊക്കെയും വളരെ ബോധിച്ചു.
- 5എന്നാൽ അബ്ശാലോം: അർഖ്യനായ ഹൂശായിയെ വിളിക്ക; അവന്റെ അഭിപ്രായവും കേൾക്കാമല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
