രാജാവിന്റെ കുടുംബത്തെ ഇക്കരെ കടത്തേണ്ടതിന്നും അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നും ചങ്ങാടം അക്കരെ ചെന്നിരുന്നു. അപ്പോൾ ഗേരയുടെ മകനായ ശിമെയി യോർദ്ദാൻ കടപ്പാൻ പോകുന്ന രാജാവിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ വീണു രാജാവിനോടു:
Raajaavinte kutumbatte ikkare katattentatinnum avante ishtampole cheyyentatinnum changngaatam akkare chennirunnu. Appol gerayute makanaaya shimeyi yorddaan katappaan pokunna raajaavinte mumpil veenu raajaavinotu:

- 19എന്റെ യജമാനൻ എന്റെ കുറ്റം എനിക്കു കണക്കിടരുതേ; യജമാനനായ രാജാവു യെരൂശലേമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ട ദിവസം അടിയൻ ചെയ്തദോഷം രാജാവു മനസ്സിൽ വെക്കയും ഓർക്കയും അരുതേ.
- 20അടിയൻ പാപം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അറിയുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഇതാ, യജമാനനായ രാജാവിനെ എതിരേല്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവരുവാൻ യോസേഫിന്റെ സകലഗൃഹത്തിലുംവെച്ചു അടിയൻ ഇന്നു മുമ്പനായി വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
