28യിസ്രായേൽപുരുഷന്മാരേ, സഹായിപ്പിൻ; ഇവൻ ആകുന്നു ജനത്തിന്നും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നും ഈ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നും വിരോധമായി എല്ലായിടത്തും എല്ലാവരെയും ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നവൻ; അവൻ യവനന്മാരെയും ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ഈ വിശുദ്ധ സ്ഥലം തീണ്ടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു വിളിച്ചുകൂകി.

30നഗരം എല്ലാം ഇളകി ജനം ഓടിക്കൂടി പൗലൊസിനെ പിടിച്ചു ദൈവാലയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തേക്കു ഇഴെച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി; ഉടനെ വാതിലുകൾ അടെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
31അവർ അവനെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുമ്പോൾ യെരൂശലേം ഒക്കെയും കലക്കത്തിൽ ആയി എന്നു പട്ടാളത്തിന്റെ സഹസ്രാധിപന്നു വർത്തമാനം എത്തി.
