1. 11അപ്പോൾ തെക്കെദേശത്തിലെ രാജാവു ദ്വേഷ്യം പൂണ്ടു പുറപ്പെട്ടു വടക്കെദേശത്തിലെ രാജാവിനോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യും; അവൻ വലിയോരു സമൂഹത്തെ അണിനിരത്തും; എന്നാൽ ആ സമൂഹം മറ്റവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടും.
2. 12ആ ജനസമൂഹം മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; അവന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഗർവ്വിച്ചു, അവൻ പതിനായിരം പതിനായിരം പേരെ വീഴുമാറാക്കും; എങ്കിലും അവൻ പ്രാബല്യം പ്രാപിക്കയില്ല.
3. 13വടക്കെദേശത്തിലെ രാജാവു മടങ്ങിവന്നു, മുമ്പിലത്തേതിനെക്കാൾ വലിയോരു ജനസമൂഹത്തെ അണിനിരത്തും; ചില സംവത്സരം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവൻ വലിയോരു സൈന്യത്തോടും വളരെ സമ്പത്തോടുംകൂടെ പോരും.
4. 14ആ കാലത്തു പലരും തെക്കെദേശത്തിലെ രാജാവിന്റെ നേരെ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കും; നിന്റെ ജനത്തിലുള്ള അക്രമികൾ ദർശനത്തെ നിവർത്തിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം മത്സരിക്കും; എങ്കിലും അവർ ഇടറിവീഴും.
5. 15എന്നാൽ വടക്കെദേശത്തിലെ രാജാവു വന്നു വാടകോരി ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളെ പിടിക്കും; തെക്കെപടക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളും അവന്റെ ശ്രേഷ്ഠജനവും ഉറെച്ചുനില്ക്കയില്ല; ഉറെച്ചുനില്പാൻ അവർക്കു ശക്തിയുണ്ടാകയുമില്ല.
