1. 7എന്നാൽ അവന്നു പകരം അവളുടെ വേരിൽനിന്നു മുളെച്ച തൈയായ ഒരുവൻ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കും; അവൻ ബലം പ്രാപിച്ചു വടക്കെദേശത്തിലെ രാജാവിന്റെ കോട്ടയിൽ കടന്നു അവരുടെ നേരെ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു ജയിക്കും.
2. 8അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാരെയും ബിംബങ്ങളെയും വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നുംകൊണ്ടുള്ള മനോഹരവസ്തുക്കളെയും അവൻ എടുത്തു മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകും; പിന്നെ അവൻ കുറെ സംവത്സരത്തോളം വടക്കെദേശത്തിലെ രാജാവിനോടു പൊരുതാതിരിക്കും.
3. 9അവൻ തെക്കെ ദേശത്തിലെ രാജാവിന്റെ രാജ്യത്തേക്കു ചെന്നു സ്വദേശത്തേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോരും.
4. 10അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരോ വീണ്ടും യുദ്ധം ആരംഭിക്കയും ബഹുപുരുഷാരം അടങ്ങിയ മഹാസൈന്യങ്ങളെ ശേഖരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും; അതു വന്നു കവിഞ്ഞു കടന്നുപോകും; പിന്നെ അവൻ മടങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു അവന്റെ കോട്ടവരെ യുദ്ധം നടത്തും
5. 11അപ്പോൾ തെക്കെദേശത്തിലെ രാജാവു ദ്വേഷ്യം പൂണ്ടു പുറപ്പെട്ടു വടക്കെദേശത്തിലെ രാജാവിനോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യും; അവൻ വലിയോരു സമൂഹത്തെ അണിനിരത്തും; എന്നാൽ ആ സമൂഹം മറ്റവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടും.
