2. 4ആ ആട്ടുകൊറ്റൻ പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ടും വടക്കോട്ടും തെക്കോട്ടും ഇടിക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; ഒരു മൃഗത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നില്പാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല; അതിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിക്കാകുന്നവനും ആരുമില്ല; അതു ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ ചെയ്തു വമ്പു കാട്ടിപ്പോന്നു.
3. 5ഞാൻ നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ഒരു കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റൻ പടിഞ്ഞാറു നിന്നു നിലം തൊടാതെ സർവ്വഭൂതലത്തിലും കൂടിവന്നു; ആ കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റന്നു കണ്ണുകളുടെ നടുവിൽ വിശേഷമായൊരു കൊമ്പുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
4. 6അതു നദീതീരത്തു നില്ക്കുന്നതായി ഞാൻ കണ്ട രണ്ടു കൊമ്പുള്ള ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്റെ നേരെ ഉഗ്രക്രോധത്തോടെ പാഞ്ഞുചെന്നു.
5. 7അതു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനോടു അടുക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; അതു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനോടു ക്രുദ്ധിച്ചു, അതിനെ ഇടിച്ചു അതിന്റെ കൊമ്പു രണ്ടും തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞു; അതിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നില്പാൻ ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്നു ശക്തിയില്ലാതെയിരുന്നു; അതു അതിനെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു ചവിട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞു; അതിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ആരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.
