നാട്ടുപുറങ്ങളിലെ അനവധി ഊരുകളും പിടിച്ചു; ആ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം ഉയർന്ന മതിലുകളും വാതിലുകളും ഓടാമ്പലുകളുംകൊണ്ടു ഉറപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.

- 6ഹെശ്ബോൻ രാജാവായ സീഹോനോടും ചെയ്തതുപോലെ നാം അവയെ നിർമ്മൂലമാക്കി; പട്ടണംതോറും പുരുഷന്മാരെയും സ്ത്രീകളെയും കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെയും നിർമ്മൂലമാക്കി.
- 7എന്നാൽ നാൽക്കാലികളെ ഒക്കെയും പട്ടണങ്ങളിലെ അപഹൃതവും നാം കൊള്ളയിട്ടു എടുത്തു.
