1. 18നിന്റെ അകൃത്യബാഹുല്യംകൊണ്ടും നിന്റെ വ്യാപാരത്തിന്റെ നീതികേടുകൊണ്ടും നീ നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരങ്ങളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു ഒരു തീ പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കും; അതു നിന്നെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും; നിന്നെ കാണുന്ന ഏവരുടെയും മുമ്പിൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നിലത്തു ഭസ്മമാക്കിക്കളയും.
2. 19ജാതികളിൽ നിന്നെ അറിയുന്നവരെല്ലാവരും നിന്നെ കണ്ടു സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോകും; നിനക്കു ശിഘ്രനാശം ഭവിച്ചിട്ടു നീ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും ഇല്ലാതെയാകും.

4. 21മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ സീദോന്നു നേരെ മുഖംതിരിച്ചു അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവചിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു:
5. 22യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: സീദോനേ, ഞാൻ നിനക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നടുവിൽ എന്നെത്തന്നേ മഹത്വീകരിക്കും; ഞാൻ അതിൽ ന്യായവിധികളെ നടത്തി എന്നെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു അവർ അറിയും.
