യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നാല്പതു സംവത്സരം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഞാൻ മിസ്രയീമ്യരെ അവർ ചിന്നിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതികളിൽനിന്നു ശേഖരിക്കും.

- 14ഞാൻ മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ പ്രവാസം മാറ്റി അവരെ അവരുടെ ജന്മദേശമായ പത്രോസ് ദേശത്തേക്കു മടക്കിവരുത്തും; അവിടെ അവർ ഒരു ഹീനരാജ്യമായിരിക്കും.
- 15അതു രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽവെച്ചു അതിഹീനമായിരിക്കും; ഇനി ജാതികൾക്കു മേലായി അതു തന്നെത്താൻ ഉയർത്തുകയും ഇല്ല; അവർ ജാതികളുടെമേൽ വാഴാതവണ്ണം ഞാൻ അവരെ കുറെച്ചുകളയും.
