ഈ ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ നീ എടുത്തു യെരൂശലേമിലെ മന്ദിരത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുചെല്ലുക; ദൈവാലയം അതിന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്തു പണിയട്ടെ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

- 16അങ്ങനെ ശേശ്ബസ്സർ വന്നു യെരൂശലേമിലെ ദൈവാലയത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇട്ടു; അന്നുമുതൽ ഇന്നുവരെ അതു പണിതുവരുന്നു; ഇതുവരെ അതു തീർന്നിട്ടില്ല എന്നു അവർ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
- 17ആകയാൽ രാജാവു തിരുമനസ്സായി യെരൂശലേമിലെ ഈ ദൈവാലയം പണിവാൻ കോരെശ്‌രാജാവു കല്പന കൊടുത്തതു വാസ്തവമോ എന്നു ബാബേലിലെ രാജഭണ്ഡാരഗൃഹത്തിൽ ശോധന കഴിച്ചു ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു തിരുവുള്ളം എന്തെന്നു ഞങ്ങൾക്കു എഴുതി അയച്ചുതരേണമെന്നു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
