അവന്റെ മക്കൾ എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഭൂമിയെ കൈവശമാക്കുകയും ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ ഉപരിഭാഗത്തെ പട്ടണങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടു നിറെക്കയും ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർക്കു അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം ഒരു കൊലനിലം ഒരുക്കിക്കൊൾവിൻ.

- 23ഞാൻ അതിനെ മുള്ളൻ പന്നിയുടെ അവകാശവും നീർപ്പൊയ്കകളും ആക്കും; ഞാൻ അതിനെ നാശത്തിന്റെ ചൂലുകൊണ്ടു തൂത്തുവാരും എന്നും സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
