നീ ചെന്നു ഹനന്യാവോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു നീ മരം കൊണ്ടുള്ള നുകം ഒടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അതിന്നു പകരം നീ ഇരിമ്പുകൊണ്ടുള്ളൊരു നുകം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
Nee chennu hananyaavotu parayentatu: yahova iprakaaram arulichcheyyunnu nee maram kontulla nukam otichchukalanynyu; atinnu pakaram nee irimpukontulloru nukam untaakkiyirikkunnu.

- 14എങ്ങനെയെന്നാൽ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിനെ സേവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇരിമ്പുകൊണ്ടുള്ളോരു നുകം ഞാൻ ഈ സകലജാതികളുടെയും കഴുത്തിൽ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ അവനെ സേവിക്കേണ്ടിവരും; വയലിലെ മൃഗങ്ങളെയും ഞാൻ അവന്നു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
- 15പിന്നെ യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ ഹനന്യാപ്രവാചകനോടു: ഹനന്യാവേ, കേൾക്ക! യഹോവ നിന്നെ അയച്ചിട്ടില്ല; നീ ഈ ജനത്തെ ഭോഷ്കിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു.
