3. 15അതിന്നു യിരെമ്യാവു സിദെക്കീയാവോടു: ഞാൻ അതു ബോധിപ്പിച്ചാൽ എന്നെ കൊല്ലുകയില്ലയോ? ഞാൻ ഒരു ആലോചന പറഞ്ഞു തന്നാൽ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കയില്ലല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
4. 16സിദെക്കീയാരാജാവു: ഈ പ്രാണനെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചുതന്ന യഹോവയാണ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ കൊല്ലുകയില്ല; നിനക്കു പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കുന്ന ഈ മനുഷ്യരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഏല്പിക്കയുമില്ല എന്നു യിരെമ്യാവോടു രഹസ്യമായി സത്യംചെയ്തു.
5. 17എന്നാറെ യിരെമ്യാവു സിദെക്കീയാവോടു: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായി സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ പുറത്തു ചെന്നാൽ നിനക്കു പ്രാണരക്ഷയുണ്ടാകും; ഈ നഗരത്തെ തീ വെച്ചു ചുട്ടുകളകയുമില്ല; നീയും നിന്റെ ഗൃഹവും ജീവനോടെ ഇരിക്കും.
