അവൻ അവളോടു: എഴുന്നേല്ക്ക, നാം പോക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അതിന്നു മറുപടി ഉണ്ടായില്ല. അവൻ അവളെ കഴുതപ്പുറത്തു വെച്ചു പുറപ്പെട്ടു തന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു പോയി,

- 29വീട്ടിൽ എത്തിയശേഷം ഒരു കത്തിയെടുത്തു അംഗമംഗമായി തന്റെ വെപ്പാട്ടിയെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു ഖണ്ഡമാക്കി വിഭാഗിച്ചു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സകലദിക്കുകളിലും കൊടുത്തയച്ചു.
- 30അതു കണ്ടവർ എല്ലാവരും: യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടുവന്ന നാൾമുതൽ ഇന്നുവരെയും ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള പ്രവൃത്തി നടന്നിട്ടില്ല, കണ്ടിട്ടുമില്ല; ഇതിനെപ്പറ്റി ചിന്തിച്ചു ആലോചിച്ചു അഭിപ്രായം പറവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
